Northern cowboy films directed three day shoot at abbey road studio 2
In October 2020 we were tasked with filming, editing and mixing a 90 minute special for British Jazz label Jazz re:freshed and UK music export organisation British Underground, to be premiered at the online version of South by South West 2021 (SXSW for short). We filmed six acts over three days, each playing a set of original music + interviews with the band members. In order of appearance the acts were Jazz / Rock fusion band Doom Cannon, Sax virtuoso Camilla George, Electrifying drummer Richard Spaven, Tuba sensation Theon Cross, synth-drenched electronic soul band Noya Rao and finally a searing straight ahead jazz set from Daniel Casimir & Tess Hirst.
